Welcome to the Invention Capture and Harvesting Practices Benchmark Survey.
Capturing invention ideas and discovering discoveries is vital to any company's intellectual property practices. In this study, we investigate invention capture and harvesting methods.
The survey results enable us to provide you with an aggregated analysis of standard and best practice analysis.
Participants who complete the survey will receive a free copy of the summary results. We will send interim results and a final version at the conclusion.
Confidentiality
The survey is a blind survey. All responses will be confidential and merged.
Anonymity Statement
The reports prepared will not provide groupings containing fewer than six participating companies to ensure your responses remain anonymous.
Who should take this survey?
This survey is open to corporate IP departments. Someone knowledgeable about the company's patent operation and practices should complete the survey. If you do not have the knowledge or access to this information, please forward this survey to the appropriate person in your organization.
Answering Questions
Our surveys are comprehensive and cover the most critical factors related to the survey topic. Participants are not required to answer all the questions, but we encourage you to complete as many as possible to get the most from the study.
If you can't answer a question, we prefer you skip it. The asterisk (*) next to a question indicates that it requires an answer.
Throughout the survey, we ask for actual numeric values and number ranges. The numeric values will provide a detailed analysis, including ratios and performance correlations. Please provide current, 2023, or last completed fiscal period information.
